Dr. Karthik Narayan

Managing Director

Dr. Karthik holds Master’s in Health Administration (MHA) from USC Sol Price School of Public Policy and bachelor’s in medicine and bachelor’s in surgery (MBBS) from Sri Ramachandra Medical University.
He is a healthcare strategist and process improvement leader who was a part of top 5 for-profit and non-profit health systems and acclaimed academic medical centers in the U.S.A and in Asia. He is a trained physician and an expert in hospital management with more than 10 years of administrative and clinical experience.
Dr. Karthik has saved more than $15 million USD for leading health systems through his expertise in lean operations and methodologies process improvement. He was the principal advisor, regional lead, and fellow in performance improvement for top health systems in USA & India such as Dignity Health, Prime Healthcare, Kaiser Permanente, Sri City and SRM Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS).
He is a member of American Geriatric Society (AGS), Indian Academy of Geriatrics (IAG) and Association of Senior Living India (ASLI). He has published many high impacts research papers with leading international journals based in the USA, Europe and India.


Mr. Srinivasan. G


Mr. Srinivasan’s association with various companies from Pharmaceutical to top Indian hospital groups and Healthcare services was gained in his 20 years of experience in the Healthcare Industry.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Business Administration degree in Madras University which was followed by a Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital Administration.
He recognized a medical tourism firm and healthcare consulting that provided end to end solutions for healthcare management consultancy, referrals for patients and manpower for medical consulting upholding Healthcare establishments in India, Sri Lanka and Kenya.
He played a major role in designing the vision- 2030 (healthcare) presentation for the Kenyan Government in 2012, and that gained him a huge amount appreciation from the Government of Kenya.
In 2013, he established HealthOpinion a health support organization which paved way for patients to get access to excellent treatment options around the globe, facilitating Indian medical tourism
He recognized Healthabove60 in July 2014, which was later renamed to Athulya Home Healthcare- an exclusive geriatric home healthcare service provider and in 2017, he launched Athulya Assisted Living, an exclusive Senior Living rental Facility.


Ms. Kavya J

Director- Marketing

With over 10 years of experience in the Healthcare industry, Ms. Kavya has been a part of well-known companies and she has also worked in pharmaceutical companies and hospital groups like Fortis Healthcare.
She completed her bachelor’s in business administration followed by a Post graduate degree in Management and she has worked for top companies and healthcare.
She founded a medical tourism firm and healthcare consulting in 2011, that offered end to end solutions for healthcare management consultancy, patient referrals and manpower for medical consulting supporting Healthcare institutions in India, Sri Lanka and Kenya.
She found HealthOpinion in 2013, an organization that gives a wide platform for patients to access the best of treatment options from around the world, easing the process of medical tourism in India.
In July 2014, she founded Healthabove60, which later was renamed as Athulya Home Healthcare, an exclusive home healthcare service provider for geriatrics, and she launched Athulya Assisted Living- an exclusive Senior Living rental model in 2017.

Dr. Umapathy

Chief Medical Officer

Having completed M.B.B.S in Raja Muthiah Medical College, Dr. Umapathy has done certified courses in Diabetes and his certifications include Fellow of College of Independent Practitioners (FCIP) 1995.

He began his career as an Associate Doctor as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist. From 2007-2012, The Australian Government appointed him as a Panel Physician to undertake medical examinations and he oversaw tuberculosis screenings in UK in 2012.

With more than 3 decades of experience in the field of Medicine, Dr. Umapathy has handled various responsibilities as a Chief Medical Officer in renowned hospitals where he handled clinical and medical directions to the doctors and staff and managed clinical operations.

Dr. Umapathy was a Medical Officer at Air India and has been having his own practice from 1991 till date. His expertise and experience make him proficient and highly competent in his field.


Muthulakshmi K

Nursing Head

Mrs. Muthulakshmi is the Nursing Head- Assisted Living. She holds a Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery, Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing and a graduate in MBA Hospital Administration which makes her highly qualified for her profession. She is part of the Indian Nursing council – Tamil Nadu Nursing Board.

She began her career as an OT nurse where she assisted Gynae surgeries, general surgeries, Urology procedures, and other surgeries. She also maintained equipment and instruments in the theatre. Her proficiency and her excellent hard work lauded her a promotion as a Senior OT nurse where she assisted major surgeries.

With more than 25 years of experience in the field of Nursing, Mrs. Muthulakshmi has been a part of various hospitals where she oversaw crucial duties. She was promoted as the Nursing superintendent as an appreciation for her excellent performance where she also worked as a coordinator for COVID cases.


Saraswathy P

DGM - Clinical Operations

Mrs. Saraswathy is a graduate in nursing and also holds a degree in MBA in Hospital Administration. She is BLS certified with a wide experience in the field of nursing. She has played various roles and responsibilities in reputed hospitals in Chennai like Apollo Hospitals and Nova Specialty Hospitals where she took up shift in-charge of ICU, Administration and Operations.

She has proficient experience in Out-Patient Department, Emergency and Purchase Department. She is currently the Head of Operations at Athulya Home Healthcare. She manages the daily operations where she handles appointments scheduling, manpower management, training and induction, finance, business development and maintaining interpersonal relations with the clients and vendors.


Nivas K

General Manager- FINANCE & CS

Mr. Nivas Kumar is a rank holding Cost and Management Accountant, accredited by The Institute of Chartered Accounts of India.

He is a result-oriented professional with 12+ years of experience in managing overall finance function in conceptualizing and implementing financial planning & management, procedures and controls, maintenance & finalization of accounts, working capital management, profitability monitoring, capital restructuring, project implementation and building internal controls.

He has headed and worked for organizations like Temple Steel India Pvt Ltd., Eicher Group India, and Freudenberg India. He has a proven track record of accomplishing goals set forth in an effective and timely manner.


Dharmendra D


Mr. Dharmendra is the Senior manager at Athulya. He holds a post graduate diploma holder in Healthcare Management.

With more than 2 decades of experience in the field of healthcare as an allied healthcare professional and as a Laboratory Technologist, Mr. Dharmendra is one of the major resources in the Operations team. He manages Client Acquisition with his proactive and empathetic nature.

He has demonstrated a proven record of successfully managing the assigned responsibilities at Executive and Managerial levels. He strives to simplify the challenges that the operations-Management in Healthcare faces.

Mr. Dharmendra is proficient and efficient in his field of expertise. His versality makes him efficient in bringing a qualitative change in elderly wellbeing. He is on a constant mission on the innovations and inventions in Senior healthcare and wellness.



Regional Manager - Kochi

Mr. Shreeraj Nair has 30 years of expertise in sales, marketing, business development, and entrepreneurial management across a variety of industries. He holds an MBA in marketing from IMDR, Pune. With work experience primarily in Sales and Marketing roles at organisations like MIRC ELECTRONICS LTD (ONIDA), ESCOTEL MOBILE COMMUNICATIONS (which became IDEA CELLULAR), and EMIRATES OUTDOOR (in Dubai, UAE), Shreeraj has a wealth of knowledge in advancing business and leading teams across various industry verticals.

He has also undergone an intensive certification program on "Managing High-Performance Teams" conducted by STANFORD UNIVERSITY through their affiliated partner, LEADING CONCEPTS, in Dubai.

He is Proficient in his field of expertise. His versatility contributes to the qualitative transformation of the business & senior care sectors.


Fredrick Antony G

Senior Manager - Projects And Operations

Mr. Fredrick began his career as a Program Executive and he is currently the Assistant Manager- Operations, where he handles core duties of the daily operations. From maintaining the patient management system to taking complete charge of certain administrative operations end-to-end, Security, Food and Beverages and Housekeeping.

Mr. Fredrick is highly motivated and a dedicated leader who excels in using proven methods and cutting-edge technology to efficiently cut cost, streamline operations effectively.

He is highly compassionate towards elders and gives the best of his services to them which makes him proficient in his field of expertise. He is well known and appreciated for his effort and hard work from the company


Suganya N

Head Nutritionist

With more than a decade of experience as a nutritionist, Mrs. Suganya is our Nutritionist who holds a master’s degree in science- major in Food and Nutrition and has been leading the Department of Food and Beverage with her excellent knowledge in diet for seniors.

She is highly professional and an excellent leader with strong mentoring, supervising, and motivating skills. She supervises and handles day-to-day diet plan for all the clients who require special diet plans, making sure they get sufficient nutrients in their meals.

Mrs. Suganya is highly flexible and possesses the capacity to work under high stress levels with proficient skills to maintain composure and high level of professionalism.


Senthil Kumar R

SR Manager

Mr.Senthil Kumar R is the Senior Manager- ITD, Having worked for several IT firms over the last two decades, Mr. Senthil Kumar is now the Senior Manager of the IT dept, Athulya. He acquired an MBA degree (Human Resources Management) from Madras University. Then followed a promising phase in the IT industry where he received the Best Performer in Industry award and consistently attained great heights. Senthil carries extensive knowledge in both web and app development along with several languages including Java, C, and C++.

He began his professional career as a crucial developer followed by a promising tenure in business and technology; He even earned the role of an IT manager during his decade-long phase in the industry. Senthil is a proven talent in handling budgets and managing timelines with ease.


Prabhagaran R

SR Manager - IT Development

Mr. Prabhagaran is the Team Leader- ITD, A competent IT Professional with a bachelor’s degree in ECE and an MBA graduate in MBA- System Management through distant education. In his experience of more than 7 years he has been a part of Website Development, Website and Enterprise application with JAVA and J@EE Technologies.

He began his IT career as a Web developer and now leads the IT Department with his stable and reliable expertise gained through his career.

He was awarded the ‘Special Performer’ and many more awards for his outstanding performance and hard work.

Prabhagaran is an efficient and flexible professional who has trained himself to work efficiently to work under high stress levels with composure and a high level of professionalism.

Mr. Gangaiamaran is a self-motivated and vibrant HR professional with 14 years of experience in all the functional areas of Human Resources. He has completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Anna University. He has the expertise in representing the business audits and liaising with the government officials for smoothening the legal adherences.

Nivedha Prakesh T

Asst Manager

Ms. Nivedha is the HR Executive who holds a bachelor’s degree in ECE and a graduate in MBA in Hospital and Health System Management.

She is a self-motivated and hardworking professional who handles the core duties like Recruitment, Employee life cycle that also includes optimal utilization in the Human Resources Department.

Her expertise and professional skills make her competent in the field of Human Resource Management.


Chitra S

Manager -Clinical Trainer

Ms. Chitra is the Clinical Trainer, a competent and decisive nurse with more than 7 years of experience in the field of Nursing, specialized in infection control. She is a clinical instructor with a strong ability to build a constructive relationship with clients and healthcare professionals.

She holds a degree in Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing and a Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery, and she undertook certified courses in Infection Control Nursing and Nursing and Patient Safety.

Ms. Chitra has been a part of various hospitals as a Staff nurse, Nursing tutor and a Nursing Superintendent which makes her competent and experienced in her field of nursing. She has also taken part in conferences and workshops on core areas like Neoteric Cardiac approach, leprosy awareness, National disaster, and emergency management and many more.

She is a member of the Trained Nurses Association of India and has been a part of medical education programs, equipment, and stock management. She worked as the faculty in charge in the computer lab and Health Committee.

With her strong communication skills, she can establish an instant rapport and a positive working ambience with fellow staffs which is crucial for a nursing staff.
